A36 steel plate application
This standard is applicable to riveted, bolted and welded structures for bridges and buildings, as well as carbon steel sections, plates and bars of general structural steel quality. The yield of A36 steel plate is about 240mp, and its yield value will decrease with the increase of material thickness. Due to moderate carbon content, good comprehensive properties, good combination of strength, plasticity, welding and other properties, A36 steel plate is the most widely used.
A36 steel plate impact test
Charpy V-notch specimens were used for impact toughness test. The impact toughness index is Akv. For the above grade B, C and D steels, Akv ≥ 27j is required under different temperature requirements. At different impact temperatures, astma36 belongs to American standard carbon structural plate, and the standard ASTM a36/a36m-03a is implemented. The tensile strength of A36 is 58~80 Ksi (about 400~550mpa), and the yield strength is 36 Ksi (about 250Mpa).
Q235 has a tensile strength of 370~500 MPa and a yield strength of 235mpa.
The tensile strength of SS400 is 400~510 MPa, and the yield strength is 245MPa.
These three materials can often be used as substitutes for each other in real life.
Chemical composition of A36 steel plate:
C: ≤ 0.25, Si ≤ 0.40, Mn: ≤ 0.80-1.20, P ≤ 0.04, s: ≤ 0.05, Cu ≥ 0.20 (when copper containing steel is specified).
Mechanical properties:
Yield strength: ≥ 250.
Tensile strength: 400-550.
Elongation: ≥ 20.
Q235 is similar to A36 in national standard.
Introduction to AH36 steel plate:
AH36 steel plate is a steel plate with a thickness of not more than 150mm for manufacturing ocean going, coastal and inland navigation area navigation ships, fishing boats and offshore engineering structures. 3.1 AH36 steel plates are usually delivered in hot rolling, controlled rolling, normalizing and thermo mechanical rolling states

The carbon content of high-strength ship plate steel is less than or equal to 0.18%, while the Mn content is generally 0.6~1.6%. 0.015~0.05%nb and 0.030~0.10%v are added to AH36, DH36, EH32 and EH36 high-strength steels. Grade D steel plates can be produced by controlled rolling and controlled cooling processes, but steel plates with a thickness greater than 35mm generally require normalizing. The delivery status of Grade E steel plate requires normalizing.

At present, when some foreign medium and heavy plate mills produce D-class ship plate and E-class ship plate steel with a thickness greater than 25mm and require the supply under heat treatment, they still use the controlled rolling and controlled cooling processes to improve the steel plate structure before heat treatment, provide finer original structure before heat treatment, and further improve the heat treatment effect and improve the steel plate performance.

The z-direction steel plate shall be subject to ultrasonic flaw detection, and the flaw detection level shall be indicated in the contract
According to the requirements of the demander and through the agreement between the supplier and the buyer, other steel plates can also be subject to nondestructive testing
